Chapter 6:
Course Objectives and a Course Calendar are the two backbone pieces of an online or hybrid course. The course calendar is an important planning tool--it outlines the readings, assignments, and other important information for the course. Course objectives (at LSSC, these are known as SLOs) explain to students what measurable skills they will learn in the course. These also play a huge role in designing and creating an online course.
In this chapter, you will learn about these two important pieces, and build these pieces for a week in your course.
